Very nice -- detail in the blacks and the white beak is not blown out -- and you got the red eye -- nice and low with a great reflection. I like what you show here

Hello Behzad; I am actually quite fond of Coots as I find them fun to watch and think their big lobed feet are interesting and funny. I like the very serene look you captured here; a perfect reflection and nice, sharp details in both the bird and the reflection. I wish the head were angled just a bit towards us but that said, it's an image I would like to have in my portfolio.

I like the smooth water and the reflection. The bird is angling slightly away from us it's head appears parallel to the sensor which make the image work in my opinion. Although, Katie comment on the head angle is valid. The bird appears nice and sharp with good detail. To my eye the colors do not look quite right. I set the black and white points which resulted in the water being a little bluer and the color cast in the black feathers was reduced. I also lightened the eye. The resulting colors seem more natural to me but, they may not be what you experienced while capturing the image. It is your call if my suggestion of setting the white and black points helps or makes it worse.

    Thanks for sharing.
