    Default Great Egrets in Fog

    Nikon D300, Nikon AF-S 200-400mm f/4 VR + 1.4x, ISO 400, 1/400 sec, f/7.1
    Lightroom 3 beta 2, Photoshop CS4

Unfortunately, I couldn't get this as sharp as I would've liked. Probably a combination of the fog and me being out of practice with long lenses.

This has a awesome feel to it. To bad they are not all facing toward you...next time. Very cool shot nonetheless.

Beautiful lighting, the fog is a nice effect. As mentioned, the birds didn't cooperate, but good work getting 3 of them in one shot. I might take off some top (still leaving some fog) and give it a pano look.

Great athmosphere in this picture! Nice example the bird not necessarily need to be from corner to corner. I would remove the branch in water and also little bit remoce noise. This is really perfect shot. I think you will get more detail and more smooth background if you use LR 3. It delivers outstanding RAW images. My repost with corrections mentioned above.
