A few of us went to the sewerage works north of Pretoria the previous weekend, and apart from the "lovely fresh air" I came away with this.

Nice wing-stretch pose and a good exposure. The things we do to get the image never cease to amaze me! Been there done that ! :)

A very nice composition Stuart. A little bit of bird ballet.
    Looks very nice.

Well, the water looks as clean as can be!:) Nice pose, and great comp. If it were mine I'd get rid of the subtle horizontal line in the water beneath the bill, and some of the small blue streaks in the wing's reflection. Good stuff!

Stuart, I really like the composition. It has a minimalist feel to it. Very nice exposure.

Excellent pose Stuart, if possible post a bit larger so we can see details of this beautiful specie. Brilliant shot

    Hey Stuart,
Wish I were that limber. Great pose and reflection. I like Daniel's idea on the lines under the bill. The other ones coming off the circle give a sense of slightly flowing water, although based on your description of location, I don't want to know what's flowing!
