    Looks like a cartoon figure.
Eye contact, Comp, pose, Exposure and light are excellent.

A mug only a mother could love. Beautiful close up, I like that the fuzz is a bit out of focus.

This is pretty cool Denise! I love the open bill, and spiked hairdo. Although the whitest whites are close to the histogram's right edge, I can't help but feel the grayer tones of the plumage could be pushed lighter. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit less body at right, but overall very well done! That place looks like a bird photographer's paradise!

    Thanks everyone for the feedback.
Daniel, I lightened it a bit hope it's better, I don't feel I want to crop some off the right though.

Denise, I like the repost better after you lightened it.

Jeez, I did not scroll down before making an even lighter version.... Love the HA and the BKGR. Used Tim Gray Dodge and Burn after first pulling the curve up. Dan, it is good to see great minds thinking alike :) ;)

Great portrait. I like the composition, the diagonal line of the bill and the BG. The open bill is great.
