    Default Golden-crowned Sparrow

The last sparrows have left my yard and started migrating north. I did manage to get a few images before they left though. Unfortunately, this guy was pretty ragged looking as it was still molting into breeding plumage. You can see the white pinfeathers above the eye.

    Set up over sunflower seeds.

Aidan, Beautiful pose, perch and BG. I like the sharp details and exposure. :)

Perch, BG, pose, sharpness and comp are superb.
I think I would remove the catchlight on the pupil.

He may be a little ragged, but it's still a nice sharp photo and the perch and BG are very nice. I would be very happy with this one. :)

Beautiful perch indeed, but I wish it would extend farther behind the bird and out of the frame. Nice BG and comp. Yes, ratty bird! He'll look good by the time he reaches his breeding grounds :-)

Very nice composition. I could only wish it were mine. ;)
