Hi Gus. Nice HA, catchlight, and pose, but I think the plant is crowding the bird. The BG also looks noisy to me.

Hi Gus,
i think the stick is a little bit overexposed.
Cheers.
agree with the others, UG. the perch and plant in the rear are bright and take away from the bird. harsh light maybe?
hey, check out my website. i got a ton of airplanes from a show last weekend. check the NEW STUFF!!
Hi Gus, the bird appears to be sharp with even lighting on it. In this case the plant on the left is very distracting and the perch appears very hot. I would also run some NR on the backround...
Hi Gus - well our brothers and sisters have spoken - tend to agree with their comments.
keep em coming :)
Original, just the way it came out of camera, one hour before sunset, no blinkies.
Color correction wih a tad of smart sharpen only
Processed this one, maybe too much?

Another to look at with a little less processing.
Aloe Vera shows the Finch's envirement.
The dried piece (Perch) is actual color, or extremely close, if hot would have been blinking like crazy?
