hi alfredo. just go to your flicker image and right click on it. then select copy image address. then paste that in the area in manage attachments here. will get your image here instead of using the link.
also, can post bigger files. Image size is to be no larger than 1024 pixels on the horizontal or 800 pixels on the vertical side. File size is not to exceed 200 kb.
in this one the light looks good. only that the bird is past you. a preferable wing position would be fully up or fully down. sometimes the "pancake" position can be desirable, but not nearly as often as the others.
bigger files are easier to see therefore easier to critique.
Hi Alfredo, Agree with Harold regarding the bird flying away from the viewer. Also would have hoped for a better light angle on the bird. The backround appears muted enough without distractions...
Hi Alfredo - Are you using CS4??? - If so I have a save for web action that will make your life much easier - PM me if you need it.
I recommend you get Arties book - Art of bird photgraphy II - Will be so much help in understanding what you need to be looking for - a lot of the time birds/animal photography is a lot like Portraiture photography - needs some eye contact to engage the viewer. As mentioned you want the bird flying towards you and not away and wings either fully up or fully down.
I would encourage you to look through the forum here and study some of teh other images and the comments about them - then make some comments of your own - best way to learn.
If you need any assistance with anything just let me know.
