    Very nice shooting angle. Were you on shore or shooting from a boat/blind?

    As Sid pointed out, great eye contact and background.

    I tried to pull out a bit more detail in the whites, to show the pattern a bit better. Use multiply as the blend mode.

    Just an option for your fine duck!

    The low angle certainly makes this image, together with the light, colours and sharpness. If this were mine, I would maybe take a bit off the bottom.

    The low angle is definitely working here. Beautiful bird on golden pond Glenn! Great eye contact and background. I like the additional details that Randy's treatment has produced...perhaps this can also be achieved with a bit more sharpening of that area in post processing.
