Maybe just slightly past me, and his head a little off, but I liked the show of the full down stroke of the nearer wing. Taken early morning in Cape Town at the end of last year.

Excellent self critic Stuart. Great details and exposure. Well captured.
Stuart:
Agree on your comments about being past, and angling away, but the IQ is very nice, well exposed, sharp, great full power downstroke on wings. Nice feet!

Hi Stuart, The Heron looks wonderful to bad about the HA.

Nice in flight shot. Only nit would be the head angle is away from the viewer. I like the sharpness and details throughout.
Great sharpness, exposure and details Stuart. Your self critique is spot-on.
Thanks for posting.
Cheers!

agree with your self-critique but I still need one of these guys so very jealous! :)
Stuart, Very nice sharp details. I like the front wing too. Agree w/ self critique.:)
Wings position, light and sharpness are great.
Agree with your critique.
