I have seen God, and His name is B2. He lives in Bandhavgarh. He is India's most famous male tiger, after 'Charger', his father, whom he killed 10 years ago! His sons, Bokha and Kallu are now trying to claim his territory, and fights between them are becoming frequent. At 14 years old, B2 is a rarity for a male tiger in the wild, where males usually last 10-12 years.

Thank you for taking the time out to look, and for your comments/critiques
Ajit, With your description, Im sure you are over the moon with this sighting. I like the half inquisitive stare, together with the lazy pose. If you have space, I would have gone the other way with your comp - less space on top, and a little more below. I aslo see a slight red/magenta cast in this. ( or the leaves could be fooling my eyes. )
Impressive animal! You can see he had a tough life.
Is it the males or females in tigers who disperse? Won't his sons be mating with their sisters if they all stay in the same area?
Egil, in case of tigers, it is the males and females that disperse, usually after 20-24 months or so. These cats are solitary, unlike lions, where the females usually stay on in the pride, and only the males have to move on. Regarding your comment on in-breeding, this is sadly the case in India, where the parks are small and there are no corridors that connect various reserves.
