    Default Valley of the Kings

This is the view of the Waipi'o valley on the northern coast of Big Island. I took this image from a helicopter. We flew underneath the clouds with haze from volcanic smoke all around us. For this image I cleaned up the reflection of the helicopter glass on the LRC. Used blending mode to reduce the haze and increased saturation. Applied topaz simplify and reduced the opacity followed by NR and usm. Hope you like it... your c&c will be appreciated.

    Nice image and application, Indranil.

Thanks for another view of Paradise. Great place to be anytime. Florida is nice, but not Hawaii... ;)

Indranil, this is beautiful - very dramatic scenery. It must have been quite some helicopter ride

Very cool. I like the almost camo-like look of the hillsides. I kinda wish for just a little less haze but you go talk to the volcano! :) Nicely done.

Indranil, I like the effect the filter has on this. I might have liked a wider angle of view since it seems so vast. But it is a nice slice of a beautiful place.

Indranil, I love all the lush green and think you did a great job on the clean up. I think the composition is outstanding, but my brain seems to think it needs to be rotated ccw a bit. I keep leaning over to the right when I look. Or maybe it was the second glass of wine...:)

Hi Patti, I have already given a good bit of CCW rotation. May be it needs a bit... I will work on it.
