    Default Pied-billed Grebe (Podilymbus podiceps)

    This was taken at a local park last April.


    D200, iso 400, 400mm tc 1.4 f 5.6 1/300s. Using a monopod.

    Really like the eyes on this image they give the Grebe a lot of character not so sure about the placement in the frame at first I did not like it but the more I look at it the more it grows on me. I think this would also work nicely as a BW image.

    Nice picture as the grebe really emerges from the background. You might want to reduce the size of your copyright as distracts from the main subject.
