    Frame made after the previous pose, shows tail better and one goofy face :D These are intense birds !!! Basically out of camera.

    i call these "Homer Simpson" birds. doooohh!! i liked the framing of yesterday's better. i like the inclusion of the tail on this one, but as is i would crop some off the top and left. SOC is great!! nice light!!!

    Good comments above. I think I like the first one better, because of the head position (although that would have been even better if the head had been free of the left wing). Both have good light, exposure and wing position. Agree about the crop.
