    Took this shot while in Florida quickly before the bird( do not know ID) flew off.
    Nikon D-200-400
    1/1600 sec at 5.6
    ISO 1000
    All comments welcome! Cropping?

    Hi Bob One of my favorite birds, female grackle and a good looking girl !!!

    I like the pretty bg and look back pose, Looks like she was closing the eye membrane so the eye looks funny Would take a little of the top and would like seeing more detail in the feathers, they usually stand out real well !!!

    Agree with the other comments. Too bad she didn't wait a little longer. Nice job being quick on the shutter though!

    Nice catch. To my eye (which may be jaundiced :cool:), the bright background overpowers the little lady. I envisioned this
    quite differently and just went at it for practice. Hope you don't mind my messing with your image -- to say nothing of mother nature.

    dang david. that looks nice! after looking at the original i was going to say that i thought the feather detail was lost due to noise reduction. all else looks pretty good...til david went and made it look like a piece of art. nice original capture!

    Hi - Bg was a little bright on the original for my tastes - do like Davids changes.
