From this morning's shoot an osprey on top of a stick. Basically out of the camera, no cropping and minimal enhancements. Initially was going to crop the bottom but left it as is with the green ... your thoughts !!!

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Great color and lighting, looks spot on to me. Like green for contrast and interest. Evwn the OOF tree.
Love wing position but wonder about other body positions. Maybe if the tail/feathers were down a bit. Did you fire off a dozen and thus have different body positions? Not that it is bad, wonder if could be better, maybe not?

Some more tail would be nice. I love the outstretched wings. And full frame? That's hard to get in this business! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Al, you captured the Osprey at a perfect moment. Beautiful light, detail and great wing position. I like the green bottom but might clone out the distant tree on the left. Either way...nice image!

Great call on the tail, I did not even noticed and does look odd without it !!!

Just looked and do have a better pose with the tail down and a great goofy face, will post tomorrow :)
......btw posted this one since its very unusual to get one out of camera with all the wing detail this one did,
more often than not it takes a little PS refinement work. Some of the sequences we got after the sun was fully
up range from one frame being under (by two or more) to over exposed to partially correct. You basically set the
exposure for a particular position and go with it..... birds overhead, backside, flaring etc
