I've only had a couple of chances this season to photograph an egret display and both were in less than ideal light. I think the bits of backlit moss gives this one a feel for the deep swamp environment that makes up for the lack of overall feather detail. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I've no nits, love the environment. The bright streaks in the upper-left do create some contrast to pull the viewer, but that the bird is in even shade is fantastic.
The only negatives I have here are the ULC bright spot, and LLC out of focus elements. I like the messy tangled mosses and branches contrasting with the elegant beauty of the egret!
