Hi, everybody. This is my first image in the forum and I would like to know your opinions and critiques. I made it last weekend on a litte boat in La Albufera, a big lagoon near Valencia, Spain. I used flash and the parameters are: 1/250 s, f/9 ISO 400, 400 mm. Sorry for my english
Beautiful shot. I like the perch and the composition of this shot, as well as the soft light. Wonderful head angle.
I only wish for a little more room at the right.
I think that Markus meant, "at the left." Otherwise an excellent critique. I just love the soft light, the elegant design, and the simplicity. An option might be to sharpen a tad more and increase the contrast just a bit.

I also like the lighting and glad that the bird's head was turned a bit toward you. My preference would be to not include so much of the perch, maybe more sky above and to the left of the bird instead.
