From James Shadle's boat. James gets you right to the action and he is an amazing teacher. Lots of fun out at Alafia Banks and thank you to Artie for taking me.:)

I should probably have stopped down.

Hi Denise, good banking angle, and good eye contact. I like the hint of the clouds in the BG. Well captured.

Great pose and eye contact. Stopping down with 100-400 would probably have been good (as I have been learning), but it looks like you still came out with a great image.

Great shot and excellent wing pose and head angle. A tiny bit soft but it's better to use the lens wide open and have enough shutter speed than to stop down and get motion blur.

Wow at 260 mm. seems like James gets you very close. Gotta get out with him soon. One fine image.

I like this image..It has good detail and you really get the sense of motion. The cloudy/blue sky BG really works well here

Great pose and sharp enough for me. The light on the bird is amazing. As I know that you did not use flash I need to credit some great processing. Having the bird angling slightly towards you really worked well here. YAW; my pleasure.
