very cool shot, love the BG. a bit tight on the right , this works in vert. comp too. I would sharpen the bird more and clone out the twigs that are blocking the tail, a slight head turn towards you will make this super. TFS

    Hiya,

    excellent capture,

only thing that i can think of that hasnt been said is that the yellow seems a little too bold on the breast...agree that could do with a little more sharpening :) The foreground is quite "busy" but i dont think there is alot you can do about that from this capture

Love the pose and color in the background

    just my 2cents :)

Love it. The "environmental" foreground is appropriate to me, since this is where you see these guys.

I'd crop it vertical, but I think it's plenty sharp.

Really a lovely Meadowlark image -- they don't sit still for long. Habitat is very nice -- I might like a little more of it on the RHS. Yellow really pops, maybe so much that it has cost you a bit of detail in the breast. Generally looks sharp enough to me -- there is some sharpening halo around the bill and elsewhere -- but the eye might stand to be a bit sharper or brighter. All of that said, I'm really envious; this is a very handsome shot.

Hi - made a couple of quick changes - for my tastes - thought the yellow could be reduced a little - selectively sharpened the bird. You could also work on the eye a little.
