I went to Roman Kurywczak's house this morning and had the opportunity to meet his friend Bill and shoot some neat stuff. This is one that I liked from the morning.
Added a very slight blur to the petals to soften their look.

    Hey Denise,
One of my favorites from the morning shoot too!!! Blur:confused:.....I finally get you to f29 and you blur it!!!:D See if you can burn the upper edge of the "puddle" in.....just to give a hint of a lip. Next time we'll mount it on a tripod....a do a focus stack! I want the front edge tack!

Wow! I like the dark bg, the reflection and that curving thing coming forward at the bottom. What is it? How did you do it?

Anita, It is a large water drop in front of a flower that we shot on a piece of glass that was prepared w/ Rain X. I got down low till I saw the reflection in the water and took the image. Lots of fun w/ Rain X and we had different looking effects.

Ah. Never heard of rain x, just looked it up. Interesting! At first I thought you had posted to the wrong forum. :-)

Lovely image, Denise! I would have blurred it too. ;) I agree that the front edge being tack sharp would be nice but I had to look three times to make sure this wasn't a "flood" image. Neat stuff!

Absolutely beautiful. Black BGs are common but this one's still different. Simply loved the soft spot light effect on the flower. Excellent light.
    Very creative work.

Beautiful image Denise and ditto very creative. Another vote for the "girly" softness. :)
