    I was lying in my hide, all my body was in pain, suddenly, this commom moorhen came right to me, I had no time to change the camera definitions, and made 4 shots, lather I'll post the others...

    Very cool oncoming pose, and I love the water action behind! I like the motion in the wings too. I would only see if you could lighten the eyes a bit more, a apply another round of sharpening for web presentation. Overall very impressive:cool:.

    Love the perspective not something you see every day, I took Daniel's suggestions and lighten the eyes and did another round of sharpening.

    Sweet image Love the low angle and water being kicked up !! Having those sharp is difficult and you nailed this one !!! Don't think you could have done better with exposure, lighter shadows would be nice but the wing edge had all exposure it can stand !! Excellent !!

    About only way to have the eyes clearly visible was with soft light, do like it as presented and find it a high impact image !!! ... good going with the 100-400 lens, one of my favorites despite having a bad reputation regarding slow AF speed and not being sharp !!! .... not in agreement with any of those statements :)
