I really like the tension in the bird's posture, and the BG suggests its habitat very nicely. Striking contrast of colors, too.
Beautiful bird. I'd check to see if you have any highlights in the eye and try to dodge them a tad. Lighting is perfect for these type of birds.
Wonderful colors and pose my only suggestion would be to lighten the eye.

Good pose, and I like how it is standing at the very tip of the branch. I'm wondering about the whitish area close to that branch though...whatever the cause of it I think it needs to be filled in with some surrounding greenery.
Thanks for all the feedback. I will look at lightening the eye and filling the whitish area near the branch.
