Excellent pose Ken and great eye contact Sure like seeing nests at eye level !! Would increase contrast a bit and work on the eyes !! btw that is the female on the nest !!! .. don't forget to leave comments for others !!!

Hi Ken, Al hit alot of the positive points. Agree regarding contrast which should give the image a bit more pop.Nicely muted backround with just enough of the nest showing. Good capture...

Excellent wing position and look, the first thing that I noticed is lack of detail when I checked the file size it was 50KB  The more you compress the JPEG file the more fine details you lose, this will make a fine image like this look unappealing and flat. use "save for web" in Photoshop to keep the details and try to have at least a 180KB file.

Hi Ken We have several tutorial for saving images, save for web is the best since you can specify the size Your re post is 90 KB less than half of the max size !!

Like the larger tones better, would just lighten a bit and then look at the greens .. might lower saturation just a couple of points. .... don't forget to leave comments on others, sure would be appreciated !!

Can't get better eye contact than that. Uplifted wing pose also great. Good advice given above re contrast, lightening, desaturation and image size.
