During the winter I go to a indoor botanical garden run by the University Of Michigan. It has diverse eco systems from tropical to desert. They have a lot of cactus and this image is from an Agave. Fuji S5 Pro, Sigma 180 macro, F/32

Wonderfully composed, I like the grain added or present, it makes the image so much more interesting :)

    Hey Mike,
I always look forward to seeing your posts and this is no exception. I also like the grain in the image. As good as it gets for me with these type of images. Keep them coming as this is inspiring me to get in even closer,

Great image Mike, very nice light and the grain effect is very cool also.

If you flip this to a horiz, I see 2 sharks swimming in a ocean of grainy mountain dew :)

Thanks, Fabs and Roman, and great idea Robert, than I can enter it in wildlife:D
You don't see the cool grain with your eye, but the camera picks it up.

    Hi Mike

I like the feel and look of the image but I don't know this plant and am trying to work it all out!
