    Default Great Horned Owl chick

    Couldn't resist sharing this.

A fisherman from Dodge Nebraska rescued this little one from the ground and quickly called Raptor Recovery Nebraska. My wife was thrilled to find it in great health. It has been eating well and will soon be taken to surrogate mother owl "Owlberda". Notice the egg tooth still on the beak. It is rare to rescue one this young.

A tender moment Randy, lets hope it doesn't follow in the ways of Ducks. the first thing it sees, it follows! :D

It's eyes are still closed. The surrogate Owl mother should be the first sight.
