Taken in my yard using a setup with feeder and hide, one of my first images with my just acquired 1d mk iii

    AV mode
    tripod/gimbal head
    f/5.6
    1/400
    iso 800
    no flash
    metering : pattern

Still obviously trying to step up from the 40D to the 1D : processed with ACR and CS4, I cloned out a little piece of the perch that on the lower right edge, otherwise no elements added or removed

Very nice portrait. I like that the BG looks natural, nicely chosen setup.
My only (very minor) nit would be that the catchlight covers too much of the eye.

Nice BG and pose. Maybe tone down the perch slightly, otherwise, very well done.
