Taken at a park in East Boston MA where the parakeets have set up home. the bird was working on a branch, cutting it off to bring to the nest. I removed branches in PS, Needs more adjustment. Cannot wait to see if it will be easier in PS 5. Nikon D300s Sigma 150-500

Hi Myer For working on branches the key is to magnify and go slow !! Also pick your opponent well ... some are just about impossible to pull realistically !!! The biggest problem here is the bg, looks like there are oof leaf in the bg which will make it more difficult !! You can see areas with cloning !!

Image wise you did well with exposure, might lower brightness a bit, image is sharp. Position wise would like seeing the bird with more room up front and less behind !!! .... btw I have gone after these little guys a few times and have zero keepers !!!

Hi Myer, Agree with Al's comments. Agree that you would want the image weighted in the front of the bird and still needs some PS cleanup. Image is sharp but would have preferred warmer light...
