    Today i've made this picture of a ruff. I've seen them many times but they where always too far away but today they are nearby with this result.

    I like the rich colors and the off-centered subject placement. It could do a bit brighter overall for my tastes. Looks as if the bird has some more molting to do.

    Agree with comments, would also take a little from top and bottom (not much) and run a soft brush over the bg !! Excellent image love the feel !!!

    You don't often see images of Ruff in breeding plumage, well caught. Nice feel, really recalls Northern Europe to me.
    Agree with cropping just a little to put more emphasis on the bird.
