Default Osprey coming in for a landing

I have an osprey nest nearby that is very active so I went out yesterday afternoon to check it out. This image was taken with the D300 and Nikon 70-300VR, f/7.1, 1/640, iso 1000

Great wingspan showed as presented, with nesting material to boot. Image looks a little flat on my monitor, maybe a bit of contrast will make it pop.

A beauty Nancy, I love the environment and pose, lovely details, agree with Fabs about a bit more contrast
