This is a white eyed buzzard trying to swallow a buff striped keel back snake. While swallowing it midway the snake suddenly coiled around the birds neck and refused to let go. It took some doing by the bird to get things back in order to finish of the snake. The eye look a bit dull because the bird activated its nictitating membrane to protect its eyes

Kiranbhai, these moments are rare, and you have taken the opportunity to capture the moment. I like the "clenched" foot - seems like he wants to punch the snake. Very well captured.

Terrific action, I suspect not easy to find. Wonderful colors and great EXP. I'm fine with the eyes that describes behavior.

Fantastic action captured and very nice pose. I love the snake and the way it is wrapped around the head. Whenever I get a good action shot I always get the nictitating membrane.
