    I believe that this is an image that is pretty much technically perfect, is nicely designed, and has a relatively decent BKGR yet it does not do much for me--possibly because the bird is small in the frame, and possibly because of the light areas in the BKGR.

    Great perch, pose and details. I would try a smaller crop.

    Would move the bird more to the lower left corner and crop just a tad Also having the bird lined up with the darkest area in the bg does not help much !!! Do like the image !!!!

    Very nice setting. I think Fabs' crop helped a lot by loosing some of the dead space to the left. I might be tempted to go even closer on the right to get rid of the "extra" branch.
