    Hi Ryan Good looking grackle pose and got him with the eye fully open, lots of times the close it when calling !! Just wish you had a slightly different light angle to light up the back of the head, would have giving those colors throughout !! Like the light color bg and wish you could have managed for the entire bg.

    Crop wise would take some from the left side about half way up the wing. Did well on this one and they are tough birds to get right !!! Looking forward to the next one !!

    A really interesting pose and nice and sharp.
    I like Alfred's suggestion of the crop on left and you might also consider taling a bit from right.
    Well done for what looks like pretty tough light conditions.

    Great job on the sharpness of the bill and eye. The eye contact is great. The light angle could be better. If you can't get in a position for a better light angle then some fill flash can help fill in the shadows like those on the back of the neck. I agree with the cropping suggestions.
