    I was out scouting for beavers tonight and found the local lodge full of activity. They had only 2 weeks of open water and they were really enjoying the brisk spring night.

    D300, 500mm f4, iso 800, 1/80th @ f4, tripod, cropped about 6%, noise ninja and some color saturation from the save to jpeg on CS3.

    Love it. Love pose, chewed branch, reflection.
    Was this even just after sunset?? And somewhere in CO?

    Nice image Jared. Looks pretty sharp and exposed well. Beaver looks a little crowded to me, maybe a little more space above and right (to not clip tree) if you have it. I know you said it was only a light crop. He has a handful there :D. TFS
