    From a Sunday morning visit to a local suburban nature preserve's small wetland area.

    Canon 5D MK II, 300mm f4L IS + 1.4X TC, f5.6 @ 1/1250sec, ISO 1000, +2/3 EV, pattern metering, HH

    PP: Lightroom 2.6
    about 1/3 crop, WB Daylight
    set black and white points, highlight recovery
    enhanced clarity and vibrance, tweaked tone curve
    Nik Software: Dfine 2.0, Viveza 2.0, ColorEfex Pro 3.0, Sharpener Pro

    Hi Julie - like the overall scene - nice muted colours - a little too much foreground for my personal tastes - might crop some from the bottom to give it more of a pano feel. IMHO as presented just feels a little tight at the top.

    Hi Julie....Nice image ...I agree with taking a bit off the bottom....balances more and to me does not look so tight at the top

    I cropped it tighter at the top because I thought the band of brown vegetation above the water was distracting. Here is the repost with more of a pano crop.
