After waiting all year the Night blooming Cereus has returned for it's 2 hours after sunrise to dazzle us with its beauty. Last year our NBC surpised us with 25 beautiful 6" blooms, a wonderous sight that was gone before many folks were up in time to view them. The desert is like a Geode, rough on the outside and like a brilliant jewel when you open it up.
Still have some other beauties that will open soon, and Gina can look forward to a good crop of figs.
Take care
Uncle Gus

Hi Gus. Like your composition ....how you framed the flowers with the cactus spines....very sharp and great colors. i like how the flowers flow from corner to corner. I wonder if just a tad less flash would help bring out the detail in your whites even more!
Gus, your garden must be Paradise! There is such a wonderful diversity in the plants and animals that you have shown us. Nice image, I agree that the flash could have been dialed back a bit.:)
