Osprey in Flight

This was one of the Ospreys chasing and being chased by the Eagle in my last post.
Sony A700, 70-400G @400mm, f5.6, 1/2000, iso1000, EV +2.3. PPin PSE8, crop to vertical, 80% of ff, levels, sharpen.

Hi Peter, Nice wing position and angle within the frame. I also like seeing a feint area of clouds. I noticed a line in the blue under the right wing and on the right side of the tail.

Nice diagonal comp and good exposure and detail, to my eye. Most of my osprey attempts seem to have half the bird in sun and half in shadow - better to have the whole bird evenly lit as you have here. (Stay tuned, I'm about to post another osprey taken just down the road from you -- you live in great osprey territory.)
