I know the Venice rookery and lots of backlight pictures of nesting Herons. This was the reason why I missed the colony on my 2010 Florida trip and why I spent more of time on other localities. This picture was taken on Viera wetlands few minutes after sunset. I decided to go back to hotel after sunset and walk to my car. In a few minutes the sky dramaticly changed the colours, which coused I did three more pictures against the beautiful sky. After few more minutes the sky turned to dark and I finished my beautiful photo day. Next morning there was raining and did not stop for next two days.
Later I will upload the Caracara hunt of Common Moorhen in the middle of the rain.
Thanks for viewing and as usual your comments are very welcome.
Striking sky and image. Sharp with a great EXP. Question: do you have the frame before this one??? :) :) :)
