Cook's Chasm is on Central Oregon coast. It is an amazing place to see the power of ocean as it pounds the chasm wall forcing water into a blow hole creating sprouting horn which are almost like mini geysers. I took this image as the sun was going down beyond the horizon using a 17-40mm F4L lens. Applied Topaz simplify and then added layers to open up the dark rocks. Hope you like it...

I love the painterly look to this and the waves coming over the rocks, and the circular pattern of same.

Indranil, This does look like a painting. I like the composition and the effect. Nicely done.:)

Indranil, years ago there was a daytime soap opera on called "The Secret Storm" and this image looks like the opening segment for that show. I hope I get up to see this in person one day. I love the overall technique you used but the grassy area on the LRC is to die for!

Artie, Denise, Julie, thanks for your comments. Appreciate it a lot.

Hi Julie, I had to lookup "The Secret Storm" on Wikipedia and YouTube. It does look like similar setting. Thanks for sharing.

Very serene landscape, Indranil. Love the soft painterly feel. :)

Well, I'm dating myself, but I did not have to look up "The Secret Storm"... :D

Very nice base image Indranil and I love the Simplify treatment. Well done!
