    Taken a few days ago early one morning. 50D, 500mm +1.4TC, f/5.6, 1/640, EC +1 1/3, ISO400.

    I cropped vertical from a horizontal and removed one interferring twig across the tail.

    Hi Dave,
    I like the composition and the over the shoulder look. It looks a little bright in my monitor.

    I agree some parts are rather light. A bit of burning in some strategic spots would really nicely tame those areas. Good pose, and the BG would have been perfect if not for the OOF branches being so bright. I love the green at bottom.

    Good-looking specimen, good sharpness and eye contact. I would tone down the highlights and try to get more details in the part of the plumage that is not sunlit.
