Hi Jaime, I like the marmot pose with the front foot lifted and the intent look on its face. I feel that the face could be selectively sharpened some more as it appears a little soft to me. Very nice rock the animal is sitting on with plenty of character.
That looks pretty sharp, maybe it was a lack of contrast but the initial posting looks slightly soft and while I realise the body has been thrown oof, there is an overall lack of punch on my monitor. I love that little mouth and view of the teeth you posted second.:)
Nice Jaime! Where was this image made and what species is it? With the obvious detail in the, the OP should look sharper than it does. And I would disagree, it is not hard to show sharpness with the resizing required for BPN. The evidence is all the super-sharp images posted here.
This image has a lot of potential and I think you could draw more out of it with some processing. Some dodging under the chin would brighten up that part of the image. Also there is a magenta cast on the image which you could remove. I use LAB colour to do this and adjust the A and B channels so that whitish highlights are 0,0. I did this and it worked well.
