    Soon to be gone from our area for a while. Taken a couple of weekends ago.

    50D, 500mm + 1.4 TC, ISO 400, F/8, 1/1600.

    Gary:

    Nice exposure on a challenging bird. Good angle in frame, sharp.

    I might consider just a bit more room both right and left.

    Thanks Randy. Starting to get used to the 500mm. Sometimes they just get to close. Not enough time to pop the TC off! Gary

    Gary, lovely looking species, and I like the perspective here. I like colour of the water. I feel this needs another round of sharpening.

    The repost is miles better. Lovely colors and eye contact. I might try lightening some of the darker blacks.
