    I know the quality is not there but I was very surprised to get any kind of image of these guys flying handholding the lense

    Nice capture...one of the most difficult BIF to get....I never see them in the open

    Definetley a tough bird to capture in flight. Has a very stealth profile in this shot.

    Good try. I believe this is from a heavy crop @ 400mm.

    Hi Bob - can imagine how tough to get in flight - does seem to be some IQ issues and oh so close to the dreaded pancake pose. AQuite prominent Halo present around much of the bird.
    Keep em coming.

    Hi Bob, Definately a difficult subject to capture in fight. Agree with Lance and as stated would have liked to have seen a more open wing position. IMO the image could stand some cropping from the top and a bit in front...
