Fractalus sketch of feather?? Nicely done regardless.
Thanks Steve. Pretty close. It is the back of a Great Egret. 400 DO with the 1.4 X II TC, two extension tubes, and the Mark IV. ISO 400. Flash as main light with Better Beamer: 1/250 sec. at f/16. Manual flash at 1:8. To learn about using both Manual flash and flash as main light (as I did with the Bonin's Petrels at night on Midway), check out "Flash Simplified" in ABP II (916 pages on CD only). :)

Beautiful effect applied. Way to think out of the box. I like the sketch look and the lines. A diagonal might look nice also.:)
Artie, this is beautiful. I really like the sketch look. Those lines are very nice.
Very nice, but you gave the answer to soon :D
Well, gee... I was going to guess egret. :) Makes a very nice abstract!

I tried a 90 degree CCW rotation making it a vertical and it's pretty cool that way as well!
Thanks all. And yes, a VERT would work and be quite natural too. Myer: It was Steve Bein's fault!
