    This shot was taken just after dawn in a lagoon at Playa Linda, Ixtapa, Mexico. The legs were naturally obscured by foreground foliage. 1D Mark III, 500 f4, iso 1250, f4.5, 1/160 on gitzo legs, kirk ballhead, wimberley sidekick.

    Herb, I like the way you got the Spoonbill looking as if it were in a fog of green. It's an interesting view. I feel as though it may be over saturated a bit. I like the pose and details look good.

    I like the way the bird peeks out of the green,
    agree with Denise about saturation. I would
    also try to reduce the noise a bit in the darker
    green parts. Nice image.

    I like your image and I would guess that it isn't over saturated as I have many images of this bird that appear even more saturated than this one and have been criticized for having decreased the saturation. My opinion is the pink is probable about right.
