    Hi Folks

Finally got around to posting one of my 30 or photos I took of our Flying Saucer and other cacti which have sure been stopping the traffic on our roundabout in beautiful sunny 85F weather, However, the snow birds are on their way home after dumping lots of money into our economy. We luv em :):):):)

    CC's warmly invited

    Best regards

What a beautiful cactus! Nicely composed and lit. May be my screen (I just adjusted my monitor settings) but it seems just a tiny bit bright. Beautiful image in any event.

Hi - the black BG really makes these guys POP - Like the composition and sharp to boot.
    Like it a lot.

Agree with Lance, the Bg is what makes it IMHO.
    Congrats

Hi Gus, I like the positioning of the flower trio with the black backround adding to it. On top of the flowers and on the left are some areas that were not removed as you did with the rest of the image. Since the flowers are facing toward the left I would have preferred a bit more room on the left than than the right....

    Hi Folks

Thanks for your kind words and Don's keen eye.

Printed 8.5 x 11 borderless on Mitsubusishi Ultra Premium Luster Photo paper on a HP Printer with printer color adustment of 20 Darker & Vibrance +20 which printed Jet Black and vivid flowers. I, and everyone else loves it too. Notecards with same setting on Avery's best card stock with ther black looking like super fine velvet.

BTW: I think either side could be pointing out, even though technically centers are pointing to the left. Actually it started out vertically :)

Appreciate all your help now & in the past.

    Best regards

    Gus

    Hi Dave

"You can always tell a Swede, but you can't tell him much." ;)

After thinking about the stamins all pointing towards the left, I'm now with you on the placement.

Wait till you see 86 :)

Thanks for your always right on pointers.

    Best regards

    Gus
