Some time ago I have colected from the woods a stump with some kind of mushroom growing on it. Today I was trying to find something interesting as "perch"/BG for this snail and I reminded about the mushroom.
    Is this too distracting?

Personally I like the competing swirls and almost matching colors. Comp and exposure also look good to me. Nice looking snail.

Hi Ovidiu......I like the bg as it repeats the swirls found in the snail

Hi - I think the mushroom compliments the snail nicely both in colours and graphically, maybe a tad more space on the RHS for my personal tastes.
Exposure looks good - sharp to for the SS.
    Good show :)

Hi Ovidiu, I see nothing distracting. Agree with Lance's comments. Love the repeating pattern on the snail and mushroom.
