This is the same individual that Stephen Stephen posted an image of earlier. This guy and another strutted their stuff in the snow for us on Sunday at Wolfe Island. This one was more approachable than the other. This was a lifer for me and I was glad to bring home some nice photographs of my first ever sighting of one!
Hi Daniel Excellent stride Love the raised foot and eye contact There seems to be a cast in the snow easily removable Might also increase contrast a bit One nice image for your first ever sighting !!!!
I think Dave is correct The cast is probably form the sky reflection but it is apparent
Downloaded and corrected Use the white feathers and black feathers to color balance Also gave the bird a couple of points black/neutral in selective color
This one is very sharp on the face and eye and with the bird angling slightly away the head turn is superb. Great job on the re-post and previous comments right on.
later and love, artie
