    Default Turnstone

I took this shot during a session in Norfolk, UK, last autumn. It was everything I wanted - good light, mush, and a very low POV.

    Does it work though ?

Love the low angle, head turn, out of focus areas and nice warm light. Some aditional room at the bottom for the virtual feet would be great. Very good job!

Looks a tad 'orange' to me Graham, from what I can remember. ;)

Agree on a bit more foreground and cloning the lhs grass, as it's slightly distracting and out of contect with the rest, althought the shot is, 'how it was taken'. ;)

Perfect head turn, and great warm colours. I like the lower right placement of the bird so if you add room for the feet it would be best to then also crop the equivalent at right IMO. You could eliminate the grasses at far left, as mentioned by Steve (however I do wish there were a bit more like at right).
