    Hi Folks

What a day, record size Trichocereus Flying saucer, 8 bloom, constant stream of folks with camera for the blooms, then the Pink-faced Lovebird returned and took up residence all day. Threatened by the Curve-billed Thrasher, the pink wasn't bothered by any others when he sent the CBT packing.

This photo, a Fine Large JPG was only slightly cropped and re-sized. I'm looking for suggestions to improve it. I have RAW files of all photos as well. Also have photo with full size CBT, but with a so-so attitude.

Have photos of a couple of hummers in flight, good series of European Starling including a series taking a bath. Plus Woody, Finches & Sparrows along with Gambel Quail. About 400 shots including the Flying saucers times 2 for both JPG & RAW.

So much to do, so little time . . .

CC's warmly invited along with redo's appreciated

Hmm, don't know what to say except nix the yellow line near bottom.
But even then you still have a strange photo :)

Can be a little sharper and the bird on the left is cut off the picture, i would prefered to have it on it. The bird on the right, i have one too at home! Funny littlle birds

Excellent capture Gus That bird does have an attitude, I'm sure he will like you yard and stick around ... might even perch on your shoulder :)

Worth getting rid of the yellow line, white area on left and bottom. God the focus in a reasonable spot to have both birds within the dof, would just sharpen a tad more !!! Like it a lot !!!

Hi Gus, I like the story but agree with Al's comments. Would have liked the wings uncut on the left...

    Hi folks

Have an early appointment with eye doctor in Tucson this morning (40 miles) and did a quick edit on this one after all the great suggestions and comments on original.

    Still looking for more CC's

    TIA

Great capture, Gus. Repost really helps. Too bad about the clipped wings, but it still tells the story quite nicely.

Too much editing on BG, looks fake. Just take out the yellow, leave rest.
You knew there would be comments on the CBT clipped wings. Easy for me to say, but, that is why I don't like to frame shot for final image. I like to leave plenty of room in case of action like this and for compositional cropping in PP. Hard to do, hard to break the habit of the perfect framing required with 35mm chromes. God bless digital.
