    Default Female Eastern Bluebird

Was pleased with this shot I captured the other day, although maybe a bit of fill flash might have been a good thing to make the eye pop a bit .

    Andrew:

    Sharp, nice head angle.

A bit centered for my taste, I would recommend moving the bird more to the left of the frame if you have more canvas. Easy to add more if needed.

I think the image could go just a bit brighter on my monitor, perhaps 1/3 of a stop.

I find the existing catchlight quite natural looking.

Sorry for the dearth of comments. The server issues has made it a challenge for everyone.

    Cheers

I agree some flash would have helped...not so much for the eye, but for the whole body as it is a bit dark and somewhat shaded. I agree with Randy about the centered comp, and would add that I find the bird a bit large in the frame. Good BG and pose.
